Fast Response Heat Flux Sensors

The HFM series of heat flux sensors can operate at very high temperatures of up to 850°C and have the fastest response time in the industry of 17 µSeconds. The thermopile construction measures radiation and convection equally well with a 180° field-of-view. Each HFM has a temperature measurement for signal compensation. These products are available with either RTS or Thermocouple for temperature sensing and are specially used in applications where a fast response time is required, such as flames and explosions.
