Key Features

The 881D/882D video test generators are designed to output DVI, DVI dual link, HDMI 1.1, Analogue Component, S-Video, Composite and optionally SD/HD-SDI video signals for testing video displays.

Quantum Data offer 2 models. The 881D is intended as a production test unit offering video generation capability. The 882D is intended as an engineers tool and offers additional test images and reports that aid in the design and debug of products.

  • Probe - Trigger a scope or inspection camera using the probe signal. Position a pulse anywhere in the frame.
  • PC Card - Clone one generator to another using a standard CompactFlash card.
  • HDMI transmitter features:
    • Internal sine wave generator, and external SPDIF audio input
    • 32, 44.1, 48, 88.2, 176.4 and 192kHz audio sampling rates
