Telit GL865 Module Family

The GL865 variants are part of the xL865 family, allowing one design to be deployed globally. The cost effective evolution path of the xL865 family allows products to be designed with pin-to-pin and API compatibility in GSM/GPRS, UMTS/HSPA and CDMA/1xRTT.

The Telit xL865 family was conceived to address system integrators and developers needing to start with low volumes (LCC mounting) as well as those already running high volumes (VQFN mounting).

It's ultra-compact package allows integration into a very small device.

Band combination variants available for European and North America applications including the UL865-N3G, high speed data for U.S connected devices.

The xL865 family are an ideal choice for fleet management and track and trace applications. Easy to follow reference designs are available allowing pairing the xL865 product with Telit GPS and GLONASS receivers available from Sequoia.

For applications where pricing is critical, the xL865 are a perfect match. Additional features such as over-the-air firmware update via premium FOTA management service and the extensive suite of m2mAIR services and connectivity can be added as required.

Available as an xL865-xxxx (Some times referred to as a V2) and the xL865-xxxx-V3.

An alternative to the xL865 family is the xE910 family and was conceived to address feature rich applications.
