M2M Routers > 3G Routers

Industrial 3G routers with optional WiFi

Designed for industrial M2M applications (process control, remote monitoring, environmental monitoring, security applications) the MICA and QUARTZ routers provide the very best in technical ability and durability.

MICA 3G Router Family

The MICA router range has a number of standard options, such as Wifi, 1xWAN + 1xLAN interface etc. Additionally MICA routers are available, as standard with or without an accessory kit comprising: Wifi + GSM antennas, PSU and LAN cable. VPN features can also be configured in the MICA routers, enabling utilization of a virtual private network service through a 3G wireless router designed for the stresses and workload of a modern industrial or commercial environment.

QUARTZ 3G Router Family

The QUARTZ router range has a dual SIM* facility, RS232/ console port and 3 x I/O ports as standard. It also has a number of standard options, such as Wifi, GPS, 1xWAN* + 1xLAN interface etc making the QUARTZ range one of the best to specify exactly your specification of router for low MOQs.

Additionally, QUARTZ routers are available, as standard with or without an accessory kit comprising: Wifi + GSM antennas, PSU and LAN cable. VPN features can also be configured in the QUARTZ range enabling utilization of a virtual private network service over the 3G / 4G networks.

* Dual SIM operation

QUARTZ with Dual-SIM is able to automatically switch to an alternative network if the primary network connection fails.  The device is intended to be fitted with two SIMs from different providers such that if it is no longer possible to connect with one network then the other SIM is used to ensure a continuation of connectivity.

* Use with WAN port

The modems are available with a WAN port as an option, this reduces the number of LAN ports from 2 to 1 as the LAN connector is used.  The WAN option enables failover between a wired connection and wireless connection.  In normal operation the router will provide a network connection from a ADSL broadband connection but if this fails then the router will switch to a 3G/4G connection.  This ensures continuous network connection in the event of a ADSL fault.
