The ODSG-01 is now obsolete. There are two
possible alternative products. The
Quantum Data 701A
if PAL/NTSC output is required, or the
Quantum Data 780
if just DVI/HDMI output is required.
The ODSG-01 digital video signal generator is designed to output different test patterns (both moving and static images) from its internal memory in order to test a display (sink) such as a PC monitor, projector, television or message board. Output interfaces provided are Analogue VGA, CVBS, S-video, component and DVI/HDMI.
The ODSG-01 outputs DVI/HDMI digital video signals as well as analogue component YPbPr, RGB, S-video and CVBS. This covers the full range of PAL/NTSC and HDMI CEA-861 TV formats through VGA and VESA for monitor formats. Control is via a push button interface, with a 4 line LCD for giving user prompts and stauts information from the unit.
There are a range of test patterns shipped with the unit, but the user may upload their own still and moving test images via the USB interface. This privides the great flexability that users typically look for in a video test generator.
It's small size (220mm x 108mm x 45mm) makes the ODSG-01 suitable for both field technicians and factories.
