Details

The Delta 1 family has two versions within it:

  • Delta 1A: Quad Band GSM, 3G & ISM
  • Delta 1C: Quad Band GSM and is the budget version of the Delta 1

The Delta 1A is a direct connect, stubby antenna tuned to the quad band GSM/GPRS, 3G and 868Mhz & 915MHz ISM frequencies. Despite its small size of 56mm in length, it still performs at a high level that most stubby antennas cannot compete with. The Delta 1A offers a small and compact, cable-free antenna solution that is ideal for use with wireless terminals within the M2M industry. Not having to deal with cables makes the job much easier for installers as you simply screw the antenna into the antenna port and that is it, your antenna is ready to send and receive information. The Delta 1A is commonly used for applications such as: car park metering, utilities metering, road traffic monitoring and numerous other M2M applications communicating via GSM and/or 3G & ISM frequencies.

The Delta 1A is tuned to quad band GSM/GPRS, 3G/UMTS & ISM frequencies, making this antenna a very mainstream performer. Its wide operating frequency band allows for worldwide cellular applications over the quad band GSM/GPRS networks and also high data transfer rates via 3G/UMTS. The Delta 1A achieves a peak gain of 3.5 dBi, an impressive benchmark for such a small antenna.

The Delta 1A is supplied, as standard, with an SMA male or FME female connector.

The Delta 1C is a smaller and more cost conscious version of the Delta 1A. It covers the forur GSM bands only is a great way of getting low cost but good performance from a direct connect antenna.

Please see the Delta 2A for the RIGHT ANGLE version of the Delta 1A.
