The Delta 7 range is comprised of two different antennas:
The Delta 7A is a dual band WiFi antenna, tuned to 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz and has a peak gain of 2.1dBi. Measuring 110mm long, its compact design and hinged joint makes the Delta 7A a very versatile antenna that suits most WiFi applications. Its hinged joint provides a flexible means of setting the antenna into its desirable or most optimum position for WiFi transmission. The Delta 7A is commonly used with WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee and ISM based applications to help improve the signal strength and better the performance of your short-range terminal. Using a badly designed antenna can result in poor performances and noticeably slower data transfer rates. By simply swapping antennas to something like the Delta 7A can really help reach those higher data transfer rates. With dual band compatibility (2.4/5.8GHz) the Delta 7A can be used with most modern day WiFi modems such as NetGear and TP-link’s that operate on the traditional 2.4GHz and now the less congested - 5.8GHz bandwidth.
The Delta 7A is supplied, as standard, with either an SMA male or a reverse polarity SMA male connector (the latter being the common connector type for WiFi modems). A connector of your choice can be supplied with volume only orders.
The Delta 7B is a quad band GSM/GPRS ¼ wave, omni-directional antenna with a peak gain of 2dBi. Its hinge joint gives the user flexibility with general positioning through 0, 45 & 90 degree rotations. Tuned to quad band GSM/GPRS, the Delta 7B can be used for worldwide GSM applications. Common M2M applications for this antenna include: car park / utilities metering, wireless key entry, security systems, remote monitoring and many other GSM / GPRS based applications.
The Delta 7B is supplied, as standard, with either an SMA male connector however; it can be built with a connector of your choice for volume requirements.
