The Echo12 GSM/GPRS/3G, omnidirectional, ceramic chip antennas, introduced in 2009 provide a reliable, PCB solderable antenna for today's wireless modules operating on quad band GSM / GPRS frequencies or 3G networks. With a miniature footprint size of 24 x 5.5 x 4.4mm (L x W x H) to ensure suitability in small form factor applications. the Echo 12 is perfect for applications where internal space for components is limited or when using an external antenna is simply not appropriate. PCB design is vital for Echo 12 integration with your wireless application as it needs to be soldered directly onto the PCB. Please see 'Specification document' to the right for more detail. Common applications for this embedded antenna include: waterproof / water tight designs, portable solutions and general GSM applications that require a compact invention.

The Echo 12 is quad band GSM / GPRS and 3G / UMTS tuned antenna, designed to resonate to a high level at 850, 900, 1800, 1900 and 2100MHz. The gain ranges from 0.67 to 5.25dBi across the quad band GSM and 3G frequencies. This GSM / 3G PCB antenna is therefore a high performance, wide frequency band antenna, suitable for a host of wireless M2M applications that require an embedded solution. Its wide operating frequency band allows for worldwide cellular applications over the quad band GSM/GPRS networks and also high data transfer rates via 3G/UMTS.
