The Oscar 17 is an Omni-directional wall / bracket mount antenna, operating on quad band GSM/GPRS and 3G/UMTS frequencies. Ruggedly constructed with a stainless steel base and fibre glass body over the radiating element. Supplied with a lightweight, yet durable aluminium mounting bracket, the Oscar 17 is designed for outdoor use to improve cellular signal strength reception and transmission. Its high quality monopole design provides a peak gain of 10dBi within its operating frequency range for improved site communication. This high gain Omni-directional antenna can be mounted in most orientation to provide uniform signal radiation, reducing the installation time to find the optimum position. Furthermore, mounting is simple using the supplied U bolt and bracket for fixing to either a pole or wall. Common applications for the Oscar 17 include: base station purposes, remote monitoring, and alarm & security systems.
The Oscar 17 is tuned to quad band GSM/GPRS & 3G/UMTS frequencies, making this antenna a very mainstream performer. Its wide operating frequency band allows for worldwide cellular applications over the quad band GSM/GPRS networks and also high data transfer rates via 3G/UMTS, aided by a high peak gain of 10dBi.
This Omni-directional antenna is supplied with a mounting bracket but is NOT supplied with a cable. You will require an RG58 cable with a TNC Male connector on one end (for antenna connection) and a connector of your choice on the othe.
